The Curing Method Of Ceramic Aggregate Concrete

The reason why concrete can gradually set and harden after pouring is mainly due to the hydration of cement, which requires appropriate temperature and humidity conditions. Therefore, in order to ensure that concrete has suitable hardening conditions and its strength continues to increase, concrete is cured.
Concrete curing method:
1, For horizontal components such as beams and slabs, cover and water the concrete surface for curing under natural conditions with an average temperature above+5 ℃. Cover and water the concrete surface with cover material to maintain the appropriate temperature and humidity conditions required for hydration for a certain period of time. Covering and watering maintenance shall comply with the following regulations:
1. Covering and watering maintenance shall be carried out within 12 hours after the completion of concrete pouring.
2. During the watering and curing period of concrete, for concrete mixed with Portland cement, ordinary Portland cement, etc., it shall not be less than 7 days. 3. The frequency of watering is determined based on the ability to keep the concrete moist.
3. When the average temperature of the day is below 5 ℃, watering is not allowed.
2, For concrete columns, membrane cloth curing is used, which is impermeable and breathable. Cover all exposed parts of the column surface tightly with a thin film cloth to ensure sufficient curing of the concrete without losing water. Maintain condensation inside the film cloth during maintenance.
3, For wall concrete, membrane liquid curing is used by spraying a film-forming solution on the surface of the concrete. After the solution evaporates, it forms a layer of film on the surface of the concrete, isolating it from the air and sealing the water in the concrete. This completes the hydration process.
4, The maintenance of winter concrete for vertical structures adopts a comprehensive heat storage method for maintenance. For horizontal structures, the method of laying plastic cloth and insulation quilt on top is used for curing. The insulation quilt should be tightly covered to prevent concrete from freezing.
