The lightweight shale ceramic filter material is made from natural rock shale as raw material and refined through high temperature and calcination.

It is non-toxic, odorless, pressure resistant, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and has good adsorption performance and strength, suitable for purifying various types of water quality. It is also used for soilless cultivation of flower bonsai, and its advantages such as light material, pressure resistance, insulation, frost resistance, shock resistance, and no radiation can also be used as energy-saving building materials.
Production process of shale ceramic particles:
The production process of shale ceramic particles is generally divided into five stages: raw material preparation, drying, preheating, roasting, and cooling. Shale raw ore is crushed by a jaw crusher, sieved after crushing, and 3mm~5mm particle size is selected as raw material. Then, the raw material is sent to the electric furnace for preheating. After preheating, it is immediately sent to the target temperature electric furnace for roasting. After roasting, it is cooled at room temperature to obtain ceramic particles.

The drying, preheating, calcination, cooling time, and temperature selection of shale raw materials are called the calcination system of ceramic particles, and studying the calcination system of ceramic particles is the main content of ceramic particle calcination research. Various factors in the preparation process of ceramic particles will have an impact on their quality.
